In previous roles I have worked as a freelance sub-editor; a freelance journalist for a newspaper and review websites; and as a copywriter for a digital marketing agency.
My most recent projects included editing books for a children’s book publisher.
I am fully proficient in proofreading files using tracked changes in Word, marking up PDF files using clear annotations and, if needed, I can proof on hard copy (paper) using industry recognised British standard proofreading symbols.
